New Delhi/IBNS: India's Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan tested positive for Novel Coronavirus or Covid-19 on Tuesday.

Pradhan said he has been hospitalised as per doctors' advice but he is keeping good health.

"After getting symptoms for Covid-19, I had undergone a test which came out positive. As per doctors' advice, I have been hospitalised but keeping good health," tweeted the Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Minister of Steel.

Pradhan is one of the latest Indian politicians to get infected with the contagion.

Since last Sunday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa and his predecessor Siddaramaiah have been infected with the deadly virus.
