Union Health Minister greets doctors on National Doctors Day

New Delhi, Jul 1 (IBNS): Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda on Friday greeted the doctors on the occasion of National Doctors Day.

Doctors Day is celebrated as a mark of respect to BC Roy, a famous physician and the former chief minister of West Bengal.

"We are observing #NationalDoctorsDay today in the memory of famous Indian physician, Dr. B. C. Roy," Nadda tweeted.

"I salute all the Medicos worldwide who work day & night to provide care & support to people in need of Medical help. #NationalDoctorsDay," a second tweet read.
