UAE President tweets in Hindi to wish people on Diwali

Dubai: UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan tweeted in Hindi and in English as he wished countrymen and people across the world on Diwali (Hindu festival of lights) on Monday.

Diwali was celebrated on Monday.

" Congratulations to all of those in the UAE and around the world celebrating Diwali, the festival of lights, and may the year ahead be one of peace, prosperity and happiness for you and your families," he tweeted.

This is the first time Diwali was celebrated without COVID-19 curbs in India in the past two years.
