Two youths killed in pellet gun and tear gas firing as fresh violence erupts in Kashmir

Srinagar, Sept 10 (IBNS) : Two civilians were killed in separate incidents as fresh violence erupted in Kashmir on Saturday,taking the overall death toll in the current uprising to 78. reports said.

a 23-year-old youth was killed in pellet gun  firing by security forces at  Batengoo village of south Kashmir's Anantnag district.

Earlier in the day, a 26-year-old man was killed after being hit by a tear gas shell in Shopian.

The deceased was identified as Yawar Ahmad.
