Two terrorists gunned down in Jammu and Kashmir

Udhampur, Sep 17 (IBNS): Two suspected terrorists were killed by jawans of the Indian army in Macchil sector of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, Ministry of Defence (MoD) sources said.

Two AK-47 rifles, one under barrel grenade launcher (UBGL) along other warlike stores were recovered from the slain militants. “The operation is still in progress,” a press communiqué issues by the MoD said.

This was third Counter Terrorist (CT) operation carried out by the army, while they were still continuing with the relief, rescue and restoration operation in the state.

In earlier CT operations by the army in the recent past, four terrorists were killed and four weapons were recovered.
