Two killed after train hits a vehicle in Assam's Dhemaji

Guwahati: At least two people were killed when their vehicle was hit by a passenger train at an unmanned level crossing in Assam's Dhemaji district on Monday.

The incident took place at Panitola area under Bordoloni-Dhemaji section where the Naharlagun-Tinsukia express train hit a Scorpio vehicle.

Two passengers of the vehicle died in the incident.

Sabyasachi De, CPRO of NF Railway said that, it is an unauthorized path way and they were illegally trying to cross the track.
