Two ITBP jawans injured in IED blast in poll-bound Manipur

Imphal: At least two jawans of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), who were on poll duty, were injured in an IED blast in Manipur's Kakching district on Sunday night.

The incident occurred at around 9 pm near the pharmacy at Wangoo Lupa Marup on Imphal-Sugnu road.

Police said that, the injured ITBP personnel were rushed to Jivan hospital.

Meanwhile, security arrangement has been stepped up in the district following the IED blast.
