Two drugs peddlers held with huge quantity of opium in Arunachal Pradesh’s Tirap

Guwahati/IBNS: Security forces apprehended two drug peddlers and seized huge quantities of opium in Arunachal Pradesh’s Tirap district.

In a joint operation with police, the troops of Assam Rifles apprehended two drug peddlers from Laju area in Tirap district.

Based on a specific input, security forces launched an operation at Laju area and apprehended the drugs peddlers.

The security personnel recovered 25 Thans of opium worth Rs 2, 25,000 in possession from them.

The apprehended persons were handed over to Laju police station in Tirap district for further investigation.
