Two children killed in Kashmir's Sonmarg cloudburst

Srinagar, Jul 17 (IBNS) Two children were killed and three others missing after a cloudburst struck Sonamarg in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.
The cloudburst that took place 76 km off Srinagar snapped communication between Srinagar and Leh with debris strewn around on the highway, reports said. 
 
Those missing are residents of nearby villages.
 
The army has  started relief operation to clear the national highway.
 
Four Spanish citizens and two civil engineers were rescued by the Army immediately after the cloudburst.
 
Personnel of the  Border Roads Organisation  are also working in tandem with the army and Rashtriya Rifles jawans to support Amarnath pilgrimage.
