Triple murder: Shutdown observed in Baramulla

Srinagar, Sept 15 (IBNS) A complete shutdown is being observed in north Kashmir's Baramulla district on Tuesday against mysterious murders of three youths on Monday.

Shops and other business establishments in almost all major towns of the district remained closed to protest the killing of three youths.

Reports said some angry youths pelted stones on security vehicles and private vehicles to enforce shutdown.

Jammu Police have identified the deceased  as militants of Lashkar-e-Islam, a breakaway faction of Hizbul Mujahideen, led by Qayoom Najar of Sopore town.

Separatists have called for complete shutdown in Kashmir on Wednesday  against the killings of three young men in north Kashmir.

Shutdown was called by Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman, Syed Ali Geelani, and Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front chairman, Mohammad Yasin Malik.

Meanwhile, another dead body were found in Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

The body of 32-year-old Manzoor Ahmad Reshi of Gonipora Kunzar in Baramulla district was recovered today, police said he was reportedly unsound of mind.
