Chennai, July 6 (IBNS): At least 11 people died after a compound wall of a godown collapsed in Tamil Nadu's Thiruvallur district on Sunday, reports said.
According to reports, one person has been rescued alive from the debris while many are feared trapped.

Tamil Nadu Fire services teams have reached the accident site and are involved in rescue work.

The 20 feet compound wall reportedly collapsed due to rains.

Most of those killed are construction workers who stayed in hutments along the godown wall.

This comes a week after about 60 people lost their lives in a 11-storey building collapse near Chennai.
