New Delhi, July 28 (IBNS) : A three-year-old boy, kidnapped by a man for ransom, was allegedly strangulated to death in the national capital, media reports said on Thursday.
The accused has been arrested by police.

The incident took place in  West Delhi’s Nangloi area.

Mayank, the child, went missing on Monday morning while playing outside his house. Reports quoted police as saying that he was last seen with Mansingh (21).

After interrogating Mansingh, the boy's body was recovered from a rainwater filled ditch near Surajmal Vihar Metro station on Wednesday.

The accused was reportedly  addicted to drugs.

The local people  staged a protest outside Nangloi Police Station in protest against the incident.
