Tamil Nadu: Record turnout in Dr RK Nagar bypoll
Chennai, June 28 (IBNS): The by-election to Dr.Radhakrishnan Nagar Assembly Constituency in Tamil Nadu, where Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa was in fray, witnessed a high turnout of voters on Saturday.
The constituency recorded as high as 75% turnout.
The polling was also largely peaceful.
However, the Left Front alleged booth capturing in some places.
