Sushma Swaraj meets Chinese President

Beijing, Feb 2 (IBNS) External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Monday met Chinese president Xi Jinping in Beijing.

Posting a picture of the meeting, MEA spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin tweeted: " India & China focus on positive agenda for 2015.
Minister @SushmaSwaraj meets Prez Xi of China."

The meeting took place at the  Great Hall of the People .

Xi has reportedly told Swaraj that the momentum of cooperation  between the two Asian nation is strengthening.

He said he has confidence on the future of India-China relationship.

Swaraj said on Sunday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on an “outcome-driven” maiden visit to China before May 26 this year.

She said the PM would undertake the official visit before the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led government completes one year in office.
