Supreme Court issues notice to Centre on AAP's appeal regarding LG as Delhi administrative head

New Delhi, Sep 9 (IBNS): The Supreme Court on Friday issued notice to the Centre on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government's appeals challenging the Delhi High court's verdict holding Lieutenant Governor as Delhi's administrative head, according to media reports.

The bench also refused to stay the Aug 4 verdict of the Delhi High Court and said it will hear the case on Nov 15.

The apex court has given the centre six weeks to file its response to the appeals.

The SC has also said that it will decide on Nov 15 whether the appeals should be referred to a Constitution bench.
