Speeding truck mows down police officer in West Bengal
Kolkata/North 24 Parganas, Jun 4 (IBNS): A senior police official was killed on Saturday morning after being hit by a speeding lorry at Sonadanga More area under Amdanga Police Station limits in North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal, reports said.
According to reports, Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) of Amdanga Police Station, Asim Mishra, was mowed down by a truck, when he was trying to remove another truck from the road.
Police have started searching to catch the killer truck along with its driver.
