SIMI activists killing: Madhya Pradesh government announces judicial probe

Bhopal, Nov 4 (IBNS): Madhya Pradesh government on Friday ordered judicial probe into the encounter of eight SIMI activists this week.

The commission will be headed by retired justice SK Pandey.

"CM @ChouhanShivraj has announced judicial probe investigating escape & encounter of SIMI terrorists by Ret. High Court Justice S.K. Pandey," CMO Madhya Pradesh tweeted.

Eight SIMI under trial prisoners, who escaped from the Bhopal Central Jail, were killed in an encounter with police in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh on Oct 31.
