Sheena Bora murder case: CBI files supplementary chargesheet

| | Oct 21, 2016, at 10:32 pm
New Delhi, Oct 21 (IBNS): The CBI on Friday filed supplementary chargesheet in connection with the Sheena Bora murder case, reports said.

It was the second supplementary chargesheet filed by the probe agency.

According to reports, it was filed before a special CBI Court.

Several arrests were made in connection with the case so far.

Media baron Peter Mukerjea was arrested in connection with the  Sheena Bora murder case.

Mukerjea's wife Indrani was arrested in August last year, days after the remains of Sheena Bora - her daughter - were found in the Raigad forest 80 km from Mumbai.

Sheena was strangled in 2012.

Indrani Mukherjea's ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyam Rai are also under arrest.

Peter Mukerjea was arrested later after Indrani Mukerjea's conflicting statements reportedly led the CBI to believe that he was aware of the plot to kill his step-daughter.
