Senior Forward Bloc leader Ashok Ghosh hospitalized

Kolkata, Feb 2 (IBNS): Senior Left leader and All India Forward Bloc (AIFB) state secretary Ashok Ghosh has been admitted to a private hospital in Kolkata on Tuesday with severe breathing trouble.

"Ashok Ghosh has been admitted under Pulmonologist Dr. Susmita Roy Chowdhury with lower respiratory tract infections (LRTIs) with sepsis and septic shock. His blood pressure was very low and has been shift to ventilation," one doctor of the private hospital told IBNS.

Left Front chairman Biman Basu and West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee visited him at the hospital.
