New Delhi/ Gandhinagar, Mar 6 (IBNS): High security measures have been taken in the state of Gujarat following a warning by national security adviser Ajit Doval that an infiltration attempt by eight-ten militants is possible through the land or the sea border with Pakistan, media reports said.
According to reports, intelligence agencies believe this infiltration is aimed at creating disturbances on or around Shivaratri which falls on Monday.

Pakistan's NSA first shared the information to Doval that these are fidayeen from the Lashkar-E-Taiba and Jaish-eMuhammed cadres.

Following the warning from Doval, security levels have been stepped up at sensitive installations, places of worship and other public places in Gujarat.

This is the reportedly first time that Pakistan has shared such specific intelligence.
