Riva Ganguly Das named India's High Commissioner to Bangladesh
New Delhi, Dec 21 (IBNS): Riva Ganguly Das has been appointed as the next High Commissioner of India to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Ministry of External Affairs said.
Das is presently working as the Director General, ICCR.
She is a 1986 batch officer of the Indian Foreign Service (IFS).
"She is expected to take up the assignment shortly," the MEA said in a statement.
Bangladesh is scheduled to vote to elect a new Prime Minister this month.
