Red carpet for Gadkari caught in his helicopter rotor
Haldia,West Bengal, June 24 (IBNS) The red carpet rolled to welcome union minister Nitin Gadkari in West Bengal on Wednesday today got entangled with the rotor blades of his helicopter when he landed in the industrial town of Haldia.
Reports said as a strong wind was blowing when the minister arrived the tarpaulin and a strip of the carpet flung into the air and caught in the rotors.
Gadkari, who came here in connection with a new venture of the Emami group is, however, safe.
