Recruitment scam: Digvijaya Singh appears before court

Bhopal, Feb 27 (IBNS) Congress leader Digvijaya Singh appeared in a Bhopal court in connection with the Madhya Pradesh recruitment scam case on Saturday.

The court had issued non-bailable arrest warrant against the leader on Friday.

The warrant was issued against the ex-Madhya Pradesh CM after he failed to appear  before the court.

The scam in which Singh is alleged to be associated deals with the alleged recruitment  at the Madhya Pradesh Assembly Secretariat in Bhopal between 1993 and 2003.

Singh had served as the Chief Minister of the state during that period.
