Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha adjourned for the day over demonetisation ruckus

| | Dec 05, 2016, at 08:39 pm
New Delhi, Dec 5 (IBNS) : Both Houses of Parliament were adjourned for the day on Monday as continued ruckus over demonetisation prevented normal proceedings to take place.

Both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha witnessed constant disruptions by the opposition parties protesting the Demonetisation move and demanding that  the Prime Minister make a statement on the ban on high-value notes.

Before the proceedings were called off finally for the day, both the Houses witnessed adjournments twice as the Opposition demanded that  "people's money should be given back to them".
