New Delhi, Nov 24 (IBNS): Amid disruptions, the Rajya Sabha was adjourned for the day on Thursday.

The opposition leaders demanded for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's continued presence in the house during discussion on currency ban issue.

Modi came to the house at 12 noon and attended it for an hour.

He did not return post lunch break.
