Rajnath Singh visits Amarnathji holy cave, Hazratbal shrine

Jammu, July 2 (IBNS): Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, who is on a two day visit to Jammu and Kashmir, visited the holy cave of Shri Amarnathji in South Kashmir Himalayas on Saturday to have darshan of the Ice Lingam.
Later he visited the Hazratbal shrine in Srinagar and paid obeisance there. 
 
On the auspicious occasion of commencement of Amarnathji Yatra and the holy month of Ramzan, Singh conveyed his best wishes to people and prayed for peace, harmony and prosperity of the country. 
 
On Friday, the Union Home Minister chaired a high level meeting in Srinagar to deliberate upon the strategic issues pertaining to situation in the state with particular reference to development projects of the state. 
 
The meeting was also attended by Jammu and Kashmir Governor NN Vohra, Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and Senior Officers from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Defence and the State of J&K.
