Rajnath Singh announces 33 pc reservation for women in all para-military forces

Hyderabad, Sept 9 (IBNS) Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday announced 33 per cent reservations for women in all paramilitary forces, including Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).

"In all para-military forces, women will be recruited by providing 33 percent reservations," Singh said while addressing a programme  said at the passing-out parade at National Industrial Security Academy (NISA) for CISF.

The Minister said the share of women in the forces was a meagre  5.04 per cent at present which needs to be increased.
