Rahul Gandhi unveils Congress manifesto for Karnataka poll, calls it Karnataka's Mann ki Baat

Bengaluru, Apr 27 (IBNS): Congress President Rahul Gandhi launched the  NavaKarnataka Manifesto on Friday for the upcoming Karnataka State Assembly election, according to media reports.

Rahul Gandhi called it "Karnataka's Mann Ki Baat".

 
The manifesto release was attended by state's incumbent  chief minister Siddaramaiah and other senior leaders.

Then Congress quoted Rahul Gandhi on Twitter as saying, "This is not a manifesto that has been made by 3 or 4 people in a closed room. This is made by going to every single district and every single community."

Tweeted the Karnataka Congress, "The manifesto has listed more than 30 areas where it's #NammaKarnatakaFirst
Karnataka is the top job creating state in India & we have received the maximum investments. We will continue in our efforts to build a 'Nava Karnataka': @siddaramaiah."

According to media reports, Rahul Gandhi will  Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Temple in Dakshina Kannada district.

Voting for the Karnataka Assembly poll is scheduled for May 12.
