Rahul Gandhi slams Narendra Modi in Bihar rally

Champaran, Sept 19 (IBNS): Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Saturday attacked Narendra Modi and his government at the Centre by saying that it is trying to take the land from people.

"At one end the government is taking away your land and on the other end it is unable to give you employment," Gandhi said while addressing a rally here.

Attacking the PM , he said: "Modi ji now only meets people wearing suits only."

He said the Congress will try to protect the poor people.

"If we come to power in this state then  we will create employment opportunities in Bihar... We will give a credit of Rs 4 lakh to youths in Bihar for education," Gandhi said.

Referring to the Vyapam scam and the Lalit-gate, Gandhi said Modi is trying to save his 'ministers' involved in the scams.

The Congress is in alliance with Lalu Prasad's Rashtriya Janata Dal and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's Janata Dal United against the Bharatiya Janata Party in the upcoming  Bihar Assembly polls.
