Rahul Gandhi should do self-introspection: Giriraj Singh

| @indiablooms | Jul 06, 2019, at 07:48 pm

Begusarai, Jul 6 (UNI) Union Minister and firebrand BJP leader Giriraj Singh today held Congress leader Rahul Gandhi responsible for such a crushing defeat of the party in last Lok Sabha election and said Congress scion was required to do self-introspection as he failed to understand the mood of people.

After participating BJP membership drive programme and other functions here, Singh said Gandhi had completely failed to read the mood of people and that was the reason no Congress candidate could win last Lok Sabha election in 14 states.

He said now Gandhi should do self-introspection after such a humiliating defeat of his party in the election.

Union Minister also took a dig at Congress for describing union budget 2019-20 as ‘insipid’ saying that the party required a thick glass to view the budget in the right perspective.

He while applauding Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his development initiatives said BJP would only emerge stronger if opponents used abusive language against the PM. It was due to Prime Minister`s ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ principle, even small traders had been given concessions in the union budget, he added.
