Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani visits India, meet PM Modi,Sushma Swaraj

New Delhi, Aug 26 (IBNS): Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani is currently visiting India and met top Indian leaders here.

He met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.

"Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar calls on PM @narendramodi," PMO India tweeted.

During the meeting between Swaraj and Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, the issue of welfare of Indian workers in Qatar was discussed.

MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar tweeted: "Bilateral issues, including welfare of Indian workers in Qatar were discussed."

The foreign leader visited India at a time of  diplomatic standoff between Qatar and four Arab nations.
