Punjab Police busts LeT module and recover arms and ammunition

Amritsar/UNI: In a major breakthrough on Saturday, SSOC Amritsar, in a joint operation with the Central Agency, busted a Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) module and arrested two persons who are residents of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to police 2 IEDs, 2 hand grenades, 1 pistol with 2 magazines, 24 cartridges, 1 timer switch, 8 detonators, and batteries were recovered from them.

He said the terror module was handled by Firdaus Ahmed Bhat, an active member of the Lashkar-e-Taiba.

The police also said it is a major blow to the terror module attempting to disturb peace in Punjab.
