Punjab CM Amarinder Singh gets nostalgic on Friendship Day, shares an image with a freind from Army days

Amritsar, Aug 4 (IBNS): On a day when the world is observing Happy Friendship Day, Punjab CM Amrinder Singh shared an old image of himself when he was serving the Indian Army.

Singh, who is the current CM of Punjab, had served in the 2nd battalion of the Sikh Regiment from 1963 to 1969.  

In the black and white image, Amarinder Singh can be seen with a freind from the Army days.

He tweeted: " There is no greater bond than the one made in the #IndianArmy. Grateful to have had the friendship & company of the nation's best. Cheers to the friends that accept you for who you are and always have your back. Happy World Friendship Day!."
