Pune techie murder: Hindu Rashtra Sena chief named accused
New Delhi, June 10 (IBNS): Hindu Rashtra Sena chief Dhananjay Desai has been named as accused in connection with the mob violence and murder of an IT professional in Pune on June 2.
he techie Mohasin Shaikh was allegedly beaten to death after violence erupted following derogatory pictures of Indian king Shivaji and late Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray on social networking site Facebook.
Several people belonging to the radical outfit Hindu Rashtra Sena were arrested.
Desai was earlier arrested and remanded to judicial custody for 14 days in an offence registered at Loni Kalbhor in rural Pune for circulation of inflammatory literature causing social and communal disharmony, CNN-IBN reported.
