Pune: Narendra Modi unveils statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj

Pune: Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled a statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the Pune Municipal Corporation on Sunday.

The statue is made up of 1,850 kg of gunmetal and is about 9.5-feet tall.

The Prime Minister arrived at around 10:45 am here this morning and went to Corporation building directly where he unveiled the statue of Maratha King Shivaji Maharaj.

He will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various development projects in Pune during his day long programs in this Cultural capital of Maharashtra.
