Pulwama a conspiracy for votes, says SP's Ram Gopal Yadav

Etawah, Mar 21 (UNI): Samajwadi Party (SP) general secretary Ram Gopal Yadav on Thursday created a new controversy on Holi by calling the Pulwama attack a conspiracy and saying a new government at the Centre would probe into it and those responsible would be punished.

Yadav, who was in Saifai, his native place to celebrate Holi, said that the security personnel were saddened by the role of the government and how the government's laxity took the lives of the soldiers.

He said when the new government came to power, it would probe into all these lapses.

"Paramilitary forces are anguished with the government. Jawans were killed for votes and there was no checking between Jammu and Srinagar. The jawans were sent in simple buses. This is a conspiracy. I don't want to make comments now but when the government changes, there will be investigation on this and big people will get caught," Yadav said in Hindi.
