New Delhi, Aug 16 (IBNS): The Batala Police of Punjab on Friday arrested pro-Khalistani movement supporter Kulbir Kaur alias Deep Kaur from Delhi, government sources told IBNS.

The arrested woman, who stayed in Malaysia earlier, is associated with the organisation called Sikhs For Justice (SFJ)  being run by some fringe Sikh groups operating from the US, Britain and Canada, government sources said.

The SFJ pushes for Sikh Referendum 2020 as part of its separatist agenda.

After arresting her, the Batala Police produced her in Batala Duty Magistrate's court and secured a remand of 6 days.

The Centre had earlier banned pro-Khalistan outfit Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) for a period of 5 years.

SFJ was formed with Avtar Singh Pannun as its president and Gurpatwant Singh Pannun as its legal advisor.
