Priyanka takes on Modi for calling Rahul 'Shahzada'

| | Apr 30, 2014, at 01:11 am
Amethi, Apr 29 (IBNS): Slamming Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi for calling her brother 'Shahzada' (prince), Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi on Tuesday said the Gujarat CM should stop being "childish."
"You call my brother a 'Shahzada', but when you aspire to become the Prime Minister of the country, why do you indulge yourself in such childish attacks? You must understand the dignity of the position you are aiming for," Priyanka said while campaigning for her brother Rahul Gandhi in Amethi.

Priyanka took the jibe at Modi without taking his name directly.

She said, "Tell people what you're going to do for them. Talk about employment."

She also urged the voters to decide their votes in the Lok Sabha polls based on the developmental attitude of the candidates.

Earlier, Priyanka had compared the BJP to 'the panic-stricken rats'.
