President of India's message on the eve of National Day of Vietnam

New Delhi, Sept 1 (IBNS): President Pranab Mukherjee on Tuesday extended his greetings and felicitations to the government and people of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on the eve of their National Day.

The country will celebrate National Day on Wednesday.

In his message to Truong Tan Sang, the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the President has said, “On behalf of the Government and the people of India and on my own behalf, I extend warm greetings and felicitations to you and to the people of Vietnam on the occasion of your 70th National Day."

"Our two countries share a long tradition of friendship and cooperation. Our fruitful partnership has grown in recent years and I am confident that it will continue to strengthen in the years to come," he said.

"I take this opportunity to convey to Your Excellency my best wishes for your personal well-being and for the progress and prosperity of the friendly people of Vietnam," the President said.
