Pranab Mukherjee greets the nation ahead of Milad-un-Nabi

New Delhi, Jan 3 (IBNS) President Pranab Mukherjee on Saturday greeted the nation on the eve of Milad-un-Nabi, which is being observed on Sunday.

In his message, he said: "On the auspicious occasion of Milad-un-Nabi, I extend my greetings and good wishes to all my fellow citizens in India and abroad."

"As we celebrate the birthday of the Holy Prophet, let us recall his life and ideals. May his teachings of universal love and compassion guide each one of us to live in fellowship, harmony and unity," he said.

"Let us resolve on this day to help the needy and work for the well-being of all," the President said.
