Prakash Javadekar assumes charge of HRD Ministry

New Delhi, Jul 7 (IBNS): Union Minister Prakash Javadekar took charge of office of Minister of HRD on Thursday.
He stressed that his ministry’s mission will be to provide quality education for all, thereby transforming life, especially that of poor. 
 
Prakash Javadekar had taken oath as Cabinet Minister on Jul 6, 2016, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi reshuffled his cabinet.
 
Union Minister reiterated that he and his colleagues in the Ministry will work as Team HRD to fulfil the aspirations of the nation. 
 
Reminding his stint in the state Planning board, he assured collaboration with all the states to ensure the success of education system in India. Team HRD will address all the issues and great opportunities will be unlocked for education sector in India, he added. 
                      
Before assuming the office of Ministry of HRD, he was serving as Minister of State for Environment, Forest and Climate Change as independent Charge. Prior to this, he was serving as Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting as independent charge as well as Parliamentary Affairs.
