Prabhu wishes J Jayalalaithaa 'speedy recovery'

Chennai/New Delhi, Dec 4 (IBNS): Expressing concern over her health condition, Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu on Sunday night wished Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalaithaa 'speedy recovery'.

"Wishing #jayalalithaa Hon CM of TN a speedy recovery, Let her be healthy soon," Prabhu tweeted.

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, "Deeply concerned about the recent news of Hon'ble CM of Tamil Nadu Jayalalithaa ji's health condition. I pray for her speedy recovery."

J Jayalalithaa suffered a cardiac arrest on Sunday, the hospital where she undergoing treatment here said.

She is undergoing treatment at the hospital.

"She is being treated and monitored by a team of experts including Cardiologists, Pulmonologist and the Critical Care Specialists," Chennai’s Apollo Hospital said in a statement.

Her AIADMK tweeted: "Puratchi Thalaivi Amma suffered a cardiac arrest this evening, Amma is being treated & her health is being monitored by experts."

The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister has been hospitalised since Sept 22.
