Politics being done over PM Modi's security breach: Arvind Kejriwal

Panaji/UNI: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday said that politics is being done over the alleged security breach during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent visit to Punjab.

''Politics is being done over the issue. That is not correct. The Prime Minister's security is important, so is the security of the common man. But politics is being done from both sides (BJP and the Congress),'' he said.

PM Modi could not attend a rally in Ferozepur in Punjab on Jan 5 after his motorcade got stuck in a flyover for around 20 minutes due to a roadblock by protesters.

The Supreme Court has appointed former apex court judge Indu Malhotra to head the investigation into the alleged security breach.
