Police recover 2,360 kg of ganja along Assam-Tripura border, two held

Guwahati/IBNS: Police recovered a huge consignment of ganja approximately 2,360 kg in Assam’s Karimganj district along Assam-Tripura border on Sunday.

According to the reports, based on secret information, Karimganj district police had conducted Naka Checking at Churaibari area along Assam-Tripura border and intercepted a truck which was coming from Tripura side.

A police official of Karimganj district said that, during the search, the police team had recovered a massive consignment of 2,360 kg of ganja from the truck.

Police have arrested two persons in connection with it.
