Police arrests Assam’s self styled ‘God Man’ Kissing Baba
Guwahati, Aug 24 (IBNS): A self styled ‘God Man’ who is also known as ‘Kissing Baba’ has been arrested by police in central Assam’s Morigaon district.
According to the reports, police arrested the Kissing Baba identified as Ram Prakash Chauhan who claimed to cure any problem of woman by using his “Chamatkari Chumban’.
Ram Prakash Chauhan had set up an ashram at his house in Bhoraltup Gobhuatup village, some 20 km from Morigaon town three months ago and started his kissing therapy to cure the problems of the villagers.
The Kissing Baba claimed that, he earned the therapeutic powers from Lord Bishnu and transmitted the same through kisses on any women seeking cure of problems.
On receiving complaint against Ram Prakash Chauhan that he kisses and hugs women as some kind of therapy, the Morigaon police on Wednesday night arrested the man from his own house.
J Bora, a police officer of Morigaon district said that, the arrested person claimed that he earned the power from Lord Bishnu.
“ When we reached the area, we noticed that a 31-year-old unmarried youth named Ram Prakash Chauhan claimed himself as a God Man and uses unnatural therapy to cure problems of local people,” the police officer said.
Police has also arrested the Kissing Baba’s mother.
