PM Narendra Modi wishes countrymen on Eid, Rath Yatra

New Delhi, July 18 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday greeted the nation on the occasion of Eid and Rath Yatra.

Modi tweeted: "My greetings on this pious occasion of Eid."

Wishing countrymen, he posted: "Wishing everyone on the auspicious occasion of the Rath Yatra. Jai Jagannath."

"Rath Yatra brings back many memories from Gujarat. Here are photos from the Rath Yatra of 2013 in Ahmedabad," Modi, who had earlier served as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, tweeted.

India is celebrating Eid and Rath Yatra on Saturday.
