PM Modi's public meetings in Nepal likely to be cancelled

New Delhi, Nov 21 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public meetings that are scheduled to be held in Nepal during his visit next week are likely to be called off, media reports said.

PM Modi will be in Nepal on November 26 and 27 to attend the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation or SAARC summit.

These public meetings were scheduled to be held in Janakpur and Lumbini. PM Modi was expected to address rallies and distribute cycles during the events, reports said.

According to sources, Modi’s visit to Janakpur was planned on November 25, a day ahead of the formal inauguration of the 18th SAARC Summit.
