PM Modi to visit three nations from Apr 9-16

New Delhi, Mar 25 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit France, Germany and Canada from Apr 9, officials said on Wednesday.

He will first visit France on Apr 9 and will stay in the nation till Apr 12.

"He will meet French President Francois Hollande during the visit," MEA spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin said on Wednesday.

Modi will visit Germany on Apr 12 to Apr 14.

He will attend the trade fair Hannover Messe 2015 and meet  German Chancellor Angela Merkel during his visit to the nation.

Modi will visit his last destination Canada from Apr 14-16.

He will meet Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper during the visit to the country.

"PM's visits to France, Germany and Canada reflect the Link West aspect of India's foreign policy," AKbaruddin said.

The MEA spokesperson also tweeted: "Link West. PM @narendramodi to visit France, Germany & Canada April 9 -16 as part of India's "Link West" approach."
