PM Modi says nationalism is the identity of BJP

New Delhi, Aug 24 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday addressed the core groups of state BJP units and said nationalism is the identity of the BJP.

He reported told leaders to create an image of the government and the party in the hearts of poorest of the  poor people of the nation.

"Create an image of the party and government in the hearts of the poorest of poor. Emerge not just as a political force by winning polls but also as a social force," Modi was quoted as saying in the meeting by NDTV.

Meanwhile, the Congress slammed Modi over the remarks.

Congress leader Randeep S Surjewala tweeted: "Modiji, Pseudo-Nationalism can never cover up the smokescreen of fake & false promises."
