PM Modi receives Benjamin Netanyahu at Ahmedabad, leaders to hold roadshow today

Ahmedabad, Jan 17 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi received Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu at Ahmedabad airport on Wednesday, prior to the roadshow in the city where both leaders will be present, media reports said.

The roadshow will have a stretch of 8 km.

The Israel PM is scheduled to visit Sabarmati Ashram and pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi.

Modi and Netanyahu are scheduled to inaugrate iCreate Center at Deo Dholera Village in Ahmedabad. 

They will participate in numerous other events during the visit to the state.

Netanyahu will later depart for Mumbai.

He arrived in India on Sunday.

He has already met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind during his stay in New Delhi.

He visited the Taj Mahal in Agra with his wife Sara on Tuesday.

Returning from Agra, he addressed the 3rd annual Raisina Dialogue in New Delhi.
